This week on Can I Just Say, we discuss Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. We talk about the beautifully flawed characters of Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy, the choices (or lack thereof) for women of that time, and who we would choose to go to our Ball and who to our dinner party.
This week on Can I Just Say, our Jane Austen discussions continue with the beloved 1995 adaptation of Sense and Sensibility. We sing the praises of Emma Thompson, we have a really hard time picking one favorite thing, and we have a great time discussing the relationship between a book and a well done adaptation.
